What is boudoir and why should I do it?
Boudoir photography treads the fine line between fashion portraits and glamour photography. These shoots are meant to exude sensuality and are intimate in nature.
Perhaps you want to discover another side to your personality you never even knew existed. Or maybe you want to do something special for /with you bae but really just want a gift for yourself - it's okay, your secret is safe with me ;)
There is something extremely empowering about stepping out of your meek shell and owning your sensuality.
Boudoir photography is for EVERYONE. You would not believe how simply by slipping on a bodysuit will make you feel like you could take on the world.

"I would love to do a boudoir session but I'm going to lose a couple lbs before"
It's a shame how often I hear this and if this sounds like you this is your sign to release that goddess! Boudoir isn't something that is for a "specific" type of person but it is an incredibly empowering session. You can never say you're not good for something until you try it. I'm a firm believer in trying things and often times you'd be surprised by how much something that scares you makes you more confident and better overall. It's the things that scare us most that force us to grow! Boudoir may seem scary until you try it. Warning: Highly addictive and you will be coming back for more! :)
The entire session will be focused on what you are comfortable with and I would never make any of my clients do anything they are not comfortable with. I will guide you through all the poses as well as help you plan outfits and really it'll just be a fun day filled with self love and a lot of "YAAASSSSSS" from me!
What does a boudoir experience look like?
Pamper time
First and foremost, you get pampered by getting your hair and makeup done - I know, what a great way to start the day feeling like a queen.
Studio arrival
Once you have arrived at the studio we will go over your outfits and select 2 best choices. You have access to client closet so, don't worry, I have a few beautiful pieces for you!
Session time
I put on my boudoir mix and we begin our session! Don't worry if you've never done this because I got you! I walk you through all the poses and guide you through everything.
It's a wrap!
I know! It flies by so quickly!
Album design
This is dependent on if you've chosen a print collection. If so, within the first week of your shoot, I will send you an online link to the photos where you may select the desired photos and if you have any special requests for album, we go over all of that. Then I design the album and we wait!
Product arrival
Once the product arrives, I will contact you and we will set up a time for you to pick it up. On average products take 4-6 weeks (during non-peak seasons) to arrive. If you need the package mailed, no problem! There will be a shipping fee if you would prefer it mailed.

I want to customize each package to meet your goals, needs and desires and that is why I want to offer both print & digital packages as well as A La Carte printing options.
A boudoir experience is not your regular experience and more of a luxury empowerment session. Whether you do it for yourself or your honey you want to maximize the full experience to remember it for years to come. Print collections are individually customized to match your empowerment session. You will forever cherish this experience.
On average my clients spend between $900 - $1,300 on customized boudoir experience.
FAQ
How do I select a package?
Great question! I know there's a lot of options and while it's great it can also be confusing. Session fee is a requirement and then you have the complete freedom in what you'd like. Some clients choose JUST the session fee to experience a boudoir session but most go with a print collection. However, whatever you choose, the package should be based on your wants and needs! If I may suggest, I say go big or go home! This is an incredible and empowering experience and you will forever have printed album or digitals.
What is the deposit fee?
The deposit fee is the session fee $200. This is a non-refundable fee to lock in your date.
Where are you located?
I'm located in Hamilton and I use studios in Cambridge & Hamilton.
I would love to but I don't know how to pose. Will you help me with that?
Don't worry, I got you! I walk you through the process before and during the session. You don't have to worry about posing because I will show and guide you for the most flattering poses.
I need help with hair & makeup
No problem! Hair & makeup can be purchased with any of your packages! The only thing you need to do is relax and let that inner goddess glow!
Do you do couples boudoir?
Most definetly YES! I always encourage either singles or couples boudoir sessions. I love capturing the chemistry my clients exude and having the ability showing you what I SEE. Couples boudoir shoots have the ability to encourage that steamy romance everyone strives for.
I'm interested but worried about having my images published online.
Don't you worry about that! I completely respect the privacy of each one of my clients. No photos will be published if the client does not approve for publishing.

To get you started on this incredible journey, please contact me and we will discuss the available packages as well as customize the package to YOUR needs. To lock in a date I will require a deposit and we can get you started!
When should I book my session?
If you are looking to get prints by a specific date, generally it takes about 4-6 weeks for the product to be completed and ready for you. During busy seasons wait times may be longer. It's better to book in advance but if you're not sure but have a date in mind for when you need the product by reach out to me and we can discuss best options!
But I'm not a model. Can I still do the shoot?
Absolutely! You do not need to be a model to do a boudoir shoot. If you are on a journey of self-discovery, in need of confidence boost, or just want to express yourself unabashedly, a boudoir session can be the very thing you've been looking for.
How do I prepare for the shoot?
This is probably one of the most fun parts of the shoot. The day of the shoot isn't only fun during the session but the time leading up to it as well. I strongly encourage my clients to have their hair and makeup done to ensure they feel as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside.
I walk you through the whole planning process starting with picking out your outfit to figuring out the hair and makeup.
How do I figure out what to wear?
No fear! One of my favourite parts of boudoir sessions is helping my clients pick out their outfits! I help my clients decide on the perfect outfit either by sending some pictures as options or ask client to send/bring everything they own and together we plan the perfect outfit. I absolutely love this part of the planning process!
One of the keys to successful boudoir is bringing the proper wardrobe that not only is beautiful but most importantly makes YOU feel beautiful.
I also have a client closet available to all my clients! Rest assured that you will feel sexy and confident!
What can I expect when shooting with you?
One thing is for sure you can expect to have a personal cheerleader! I make sure that my clients feel their most beautiful and comfortable selves.
Throughout the session you will feel strong, beautiful and most importantly comfortable. No matter your relationship status or past experiences the feeling of empowerment is something that every woman needs to feel - and that is something I focus on during my boudoir sessions.
